In this video you can see that there has been a large use of cuts, the intended use of these cuts are used to make the viewer look at shakiras body and the way she shakes her hips. The techniques has been successful because the cuts go with the beat and it also syncs with the lyrics of the song, it also keeps the viewer interested because they dont know whats going to happen next in the video.
In this video we can see that the cuts hasn't been this good this is because in one of the cuts the camera is tilted to the left a bit, which tacks the effect of the use of cuts away,overall the video has not been successful due to the incorrect use of cuts, also the viewers wouldnt be that intrested in the video because it gives it that poor look of quality when the cuts doesnt match the scene or beat.
Special effects
In this video we can see that it relies on special effects for instance when the piano is on fire and when stuff fall out of the sky, The intended effects of the special effects is that it goes with the mood of the flow and the lyrics it also, makes the video more interesting and adds a bit more enigma to it overall the special effects on this music video has been successful because it interacts with the viewer.
In this music video we can see that the special effects are quite bad for instance when dappy is hanging of the door it doesn't look realistic, what this does to the viewer is that it puts them off the video because they realize it isn't up to good quality standards, however overall it isn't good and it isn't bad i would say its average because of what the video symbolizes.
Cutting to the beat
In this video you can hear and see that it cuts into the beat, which is good because it means the music video runs nice and smooth which people want to see, it also adds that effect of knodding your head and expecting to see a cut away with the beat, however you can see in some areas the footage just runs a bit longer over the beat but that's normal.
In this music video we can see that it doesn't really cut into the beat that well so for instance, when the beat drops the scene still stays the same and doesn't really cut away at the same time, this adds a negative effect to the video making it seem slower then it actually is, however overall it is a good video just needs to have a few adjustments.

In this video we can see that there has been a lot of use in camera language so for instance mid shots long shots, their has also been a lot of camera position, this is good because it gives the music video that professional look and adds to the quality overall this is a good music video with cutaways and camera language.
In this video we can see that the use off camera language has been simple and boring for instance the camera shots have been repeated when Justin bieber is spinning, it also gives the video a grey feeling and a negative feel, overall it needs to be stepped up a bit and needs to have more effects.
Green screen
In this video we can see that the use of green screen is a lot and half of it is done by that for instance theirs this bit where Katy perry is climbing the candy stick and it turns into snakes, overall i thing that this video has a lot to offer to its viewers and has a lot off special effects, i also like the use of green screen when she interacts with the jelly baby.
In this music video we can see that the use of green screen is bad this is because we can tell the person hasn't blended in with the background or the motion of the picture overall, it is really bad quality and my nan could of done better, also you can tell that the cars are really badly faked and that the shoes of the rappers sticks out in front of the green screen.
Lip synching
In this video 50 cent is lip synching we know this by the video footage because his in a night club were it is imposable to sing without interference which proves his lip synching, i would say hes lip synching is very accurate and matches with the song and that it is really hard to do because there are a lot of thing going on at once overall it is a good video and deserves credit.
My opinion of this video is that the lip synching starts of good and gets bad towards the middle this is the part where you can tell hes lip synching, where his at the mirror sing fast because he goes out of synch for like 2 seconds and 3 seconds ofter however its still a good video and should be rewarded for its efforts

Artist usually release a single to promote their new album which has just come out they usually, release their music video so it gets people talking about their songs, so in other words its so they can make their albums herd. One person who done this was dappy from the group n-dub z he released a music video called Good intentions and that music video was meant to promote is album Bad intentions.

Also some music channels you have to be subscribed to in order to view there music videos meaning some people might not have money to watch that channel meaning not many people view it.

The good thing about downloads is that you can watch them, over and over again you can also transfer them to iPod and DVDs to watch them else where, however there are illegal downloads such as leaked torrents which means every time a person downloads it, it means that the artist is losing money because every one is downloading it for free and is sharing it about.

The good thing about mainstream tv is that its free to view so for instance, people don't have to subscribe to use the channel or pay any excess fees, the bad side to it is that people who don't have access to TV wont be able to view there video or hear about the artist.
